Dort gibt es eine Gedenktafel, mit folgender Inschrift:<\/p>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Zur Erinnerung an die K\u00e4mpfe<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>um das Schlo\u00df Markkleeberg <\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>zwischen dem \u00f6sterreichischen<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Kaunitz &#8211; Inf. Regiment Nr. 20<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>und der franz\u00f6sischen<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Halbbrigade Aymard<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>am 16. Oktober 1813<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/address>\n<p>Ein sog. Apelstein befindet sich vor dem Torhaus. Es handelt sich um den Apelstein Nr. 50, einer der nicht von Theodor Apel selbst aufgestellt wurden ist. Er tr\u00e4gt folgende Inschrift:<\/p>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Gefecht um das Schlo\u00df<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Markkleeberg\u00a0 am 16. Oktober 1813<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Kaunitz Inf. Reg. Nr. 20<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>500 Mann<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/address>\n<p>An der Kirche befindet sich an der Au\u00dfenseite eine Kanonenkugel vom Gefecht, diese ist im Mauerwerk eingearbeitet.<\/p>\n<p>Am Museum befindet sich seizlich eine weitere Gedenktafel mit folgender Inschrift:<\/p>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Gesch\u00fctzt durch ein Truppenkontingent<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>nutzten der Generalquartiermeister der<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>\u00f6stereichischen Armee Generalmajor<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Freiherr von Langenau und sein Stab das<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Schloss Markkleeberg vom<\/strong><\/em><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>18. bis 20.
